I have just completed (FEB 2022) an in-depth 3 year Nutrition course at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, a college accredited to the National Therapy Council. I passed with Merit! I will attend my graduation ceremony in March 2022. The very in depth course involved training in functional medicine principles ( a science based method of assessing underlying causes and symtoms) as well as patient centered holistic approach to clinical practice
I successfully completed my SPORTS MASSAGE diploma BTEC Level 5, at prestigious London School of Sports Massage. This was year long part-time course, incorporating practical hands on, and also theory with relation to anatomy and physiology. I qualified June 2012.
I started my journey by completing the PRACTITIONER course in Therapeutic Massage, a year long part-time course. I qualified 2002 with The London College Of Massage. The LCM Diploma is recognised in the field of Complementary Medicine.
I am insured with Balens which ensures that I attain approved qualifications to practice massage and nutrition and sets out a full code of conduct.
I have a Basic Disclosure (CRB check).
I am a full member of The Institute of Sport & Remedial Massage a governing body for Sports Massage, which maintains the standards for practitioners. You will find me listed in the official Therapist Directory.
I am a keen sportswoman, having played Hockey and Tennis most of my life.
I completely advocate yoga /pilates.
I have taken part in charity bike rides.
I have my own dog that I compete with in agility and walk and have fun with every day.
